Would you recommend joining a sorority? I'm getting ready to go to college but I've always been on the fence about that. I like the idea of the service and life-long friendships, but sometimes I think I'm too withdrawn/not into partying and the social scene enough for it. Do you think that you have to be a certain kind of person to appreciate and enjoy sorority life?
I’d definitely at least go through recruitment! There are so many different sororities on every campus that you’re bound to find one that you fit into. As for the partying and whatnot, there are some girls in every sorority who party all the time and some girls who don’t party at all. That’s definitely not something to worry about. In my experience, I’m really glad I joined one because it gave me a “home away from home” which I really needed because I go to school 600 miles from home. It’s also nice to have 100+ girls who you can always hang out with/talk to/borrow clothes from/study with! It’s really all what you make of it!
What dorm are you living in?
I’m living in my sorority house this year but last year I lived in K tower!
Where is the American flag bowtie you reblogged from??
I have no idea, sorry!
